Staying in the historic main building (palazzina padronale), on any of its floors, should be considered an experience rather than a conventional hotel stay. As with all historic residences, authentic charm and modern comfort do not always coincide: original layouts, staircases, and architectural features are an essential part of the identity of the property. This is absolutely not a hotel. There is no reception, no daily housekeeping, and no standardized services. Guests are welcomed into a historic private residence, where the value lies in atmosphere, location, and authenticity rather than hotel-style comfort. The property offers four very different accommodations, each with its own layout, style, and level of independence. The accommodations are not uniform, making the property ideal for travelers seeking authenticity, atmosphere, and distinctive spaces rather than standardized lodging. Our Accommodations Casa del Rais Casa del Rais is a standalone, independent house, located next to the main historic building. It functions as a true private home and can accommodate up to 6 guests, making it ideal for families or small groups looking for space, privacy, and autonomy, while still enjoying the unique setting of the tonnara. Top Floor of the Tower – An Experience Staying on the top floor of the ancient tower overlooking the main historic building is an experience, not just a stay. Guests must climb three flights of stairs, but once at the top they are rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view over the sea, embracing the entire Gulf of Castellammare. The accommodation includes a private kitchen and offers a truly unique atmosphere. As is often the case with historic residences, charm and inconvenience go hand in hand: the private bathroom is located on the floor below and is for the exclusive use of the guests. First Floor of the Tower – A Unique Historic Stay Located on the first floor of the tower, this accommodation is also part of the historic main building and should be considered a true experience rather than a standard room. It preserves the authentic character of the tower and features a small kitchenette and a private bathroom inside the room, combining historic atmosphere with a higher level of comfort. Sea Side Sea Side is located on the main floor of the historic building. It does not have a kitchen, but it features very large and spacious bedrooms, ideal for guests who appreciate generous interiors, elegance, and the historic identity of the residence. Guests staying in Sea Side also have access to the shared living room on the main floor, a refined common space where they can relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the palazzina padronale. Garden Side Garden Side is located on the main floor of the historic building. It is the only accommodation without a sea view, as it overlooks the garden of the residence, offering a quieter and more secluded atmosphere. The rooms located on the main floor (Sea Side and Garden Side) do not have a kitchen, but they offer very large and spacious interiors and a private bathroom with a bathtub.
